ISU Releases 2009 Softball Schedule

Illinois State head softball coach Melinda Fischer released the Redbird softball team's 2009 schedule Tuesday. The schedule features 14 teams that participated in the 2008 NCAA Tournament, including defending national champion Arizona State.

The Illinois State softball team began its nine-day Belize International tour with a bang Monday night, as the Redbirds combined to score 15 runs in 11-0 and 4-0 shutout victories over Telemedia and the Belize National Softball Team, respectively.
